SRQ is looking to hold a 'skill development day' at Moogerah Dam the day before the next series day. Unlike the Junior development day, this day is not solely limited to under 16's, so if you'd like to come out, have a ski with a few other like minded people, work on your skills and perhaps learn some new ones, drop me an email at mikkos183@hotmail.com to put your name down.

The upcoming Queensland Series Day has been called off due to flooding in the Clarence. The river has been
deemed to be too dangerous to race in. Apologies to all involved, but in the interests of safety their are no other options. Thank you to the organising committee and the Zone 3 people who have been working hard on the organisation of the event.

Mark and Aimee Stephenson of Grafton welcomed Cooper Jack Stephenson to the world this afternoon. Weighing a fit eight and a half pounds, look out for this little fella racing the Bridge in no time.
Congratulations from all at Letstalk, Queensland Ski Racing and Zone 3.

Wayne Mawer won rounds 5 and 6 of the F1 mens Selection races at Wisemans Ferry on the weekend, giving two dominant performances. On the Saturday, Peter Proctor ran with Mawer for about half an hour before the ex world champ applied the pressure and pulled away, to leave Proctor to second and Chris Stouty for third. On Sunday Mawer and Stout ran side by side at a blistering pace for the first ten minutes, gapping the field, before Mawer again surged to the front and was never headed. Proctor fought back to take second at about the half hour mark, and positions stayed the same for the remainder of the race.
In F2, Mark Weaver went back to back on both days, with Rich Souwer and Daniel Cotton trading second and third on the two days.
In the Womens F1, Cara Johinke again streeted the field both days, with Lauryn and Bethany fighting for minors, and Trudy Stout took both F2 races ahead of Kylee Jones.
