Peter Proctor and the Mr Warpath Team of Mike Avila and Kurt Schoen have won the 2010 Catalina Waterski Race in a thrilling sprint to the line with 9 time winner Todd Haig. With the Nordic ahead at the final turn, Warparth powered by to take the win by 2/10 of a second on the line. Jason Walmsley was close behind in third, ahead of Chris Stout in fourth, who just held out Stephen Robbo by two seconds for fifth. Ben Gulley took 6th, and first in intermediate mens, ahead of Grant Patterson, Brady Hoggins, Nico Bertels and Jack Houston rounding out the top ten and winning Junior Boys.

Lauren Eagle took 14th Outright and won Open Womens.

What a spectacular finish! We were rooting for Peter after what we saw last year when it looked like he might take the race then
